Background
Although he grew up in a more traditional family setting in a rural environment, Buddy’s abilities earned him a lot of recognition. His mentors, friends and family encouraged him to explore bigger opportunities beyond the limitations of his surroundings. His outstanding reputation earned him an instructional position during his second year attending The University of Alabama. While migrating from marching drum to full drum kit performances, he maintained a signature style that put his talents on a very short list of “go-to” drummers for a very diverse list of artists. At that point, all roads pointed to Los Angeles where he has resided ever since.

list of artists that Buddy has played with is long and diverse, and it includes Sofia Reyes, PeeWee, Alejandra Guzman, Los Rios, Phil Stacey and Kristen McNamara (American Idol Finalists), The Mile High Orchestra (Fox’s Next Great American Band finalist), Jason & DeMarco, Shiloh, Abe Laboriel Sr., Stan Lassiter, Emanuela Bellezza, Tamela D’Amico, Shanti, & Lee Whittaker just for starters.
